What might it look like when different generations find their own way of living, while becoming part of the same living place?
At Borgo Orfeo, we imagine a village where people can enjoy their own home, their own rhythm and their own private corners, while remaining connected to the life unfolding around them.
A place where independence and togetherness can complement one another. Where different stages of life can meet, exchange, inspire and support each other naturally.
We see two exciting possibilities taking shape.
1. Living within the historic hamlet
Seven homes, woven into village life.
Three connected houses form the heart of our current transformation plans.
Our vision is to give these old buildings new life by creating seven apartments of different sizes, spread across different levels of the hamlet.
Each home will have its own character, views and little corners to retreat into. Together, they could offer space for different generations, life stages and ways of living.
Here, village life is close by. Encounters can happen naturally — over a meal, in the garden, on the terrace or simply along the way.
There is room to be together, and room to be yourself.
2. A little more space, a different rhythm
Connected to the village. Free to live your own way.
There may also be an opportunity to acquire a nearby plot of land and create something new.
We are exploring the possibility of building either one house or two spacious, single-level apartments, surrounded by open views across the Umbrian landscape.
This could offer another way of living at Borgo Orfeo: more independent, with its own private atmosphere, while still connected to the people and life of the hamlet.

We believe a vibrant community does not mean everyone living alike.
It grows when people have the freedom to shape their own lives, while remaining open to connection, shared experiences and the richness of different generations meeting.

The buildings still have a journey ahead, and the future will unfold step by step. We are sharing our vision as it develops, with care for the place and the people who may one day call it home.
