We are caring for an old hamlet in the hills of Umbria, honouring the people and stories that came before us while discovering what the next chapter might hold.
We call ourselves custodians because we believe a place is more than its buildings. It is also its memories, its relationships, the land and the life that unfolds around it.

We don't believe there is just one way to be part of Borgo Orfeo.
Some people may feel drawn to living here. Others may bring practical skills, creative ideas, a love of the land, a project, or simply the wish to connect and contribute.
We don't need everyone to share the same story or see the future in exactly the same way.
